Building Capacity for the National Adaptation Planning Process in Yemen

The primary objective of this assignment is to provide top quality advisory and guidance support to ensure the successful implementation of the NAP project. The Team will support effective implementation of the project activities across the three outcomes of the NAP project, ensuring that the NAP is evidence-based, aligned with national priorities, and consistent with international best practices.

Adapt40 are providing guidance and quality assurance on all technical outputs and are  reviewing and refining the NAP workplan, mechanisms, and protocols, ensuring they are aligned with the project document and Yemen’s socio-political context. With a focus on integrating conflict-sensitive and fragility-aware approaches into NAP assessments, CRVAs, and institutional arrangements and adapt methodologies to limited data availability, access constraints, and security risks. The Team are supporting all the key pillars of the NAP project, including the institutional capacity gap analysis and climate risk and vulnerability assessments.
